Christy, Zak, and the girls were visiting Tom and Lindsay McKinnon in Roanoke when the unthinkable happened.  The house caught fire. Zak and the girls are well, but Christy sustained burns to her face, arms, hands, and back.  The McKinnons lost their two beautiful sons, Patrick and Logan, and their home.  Christy is currently in the ICU burn unit at the hospital at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.  They were all transported there from Roanoke.  Tom and Lindsay are leaving the hospital today, but will remain in Winston-Salem to see Christy through the first part of her recovery.  Christy is receiving incredible care from the staff at the hospital and by friends and family who have come to help her here.
