As some of you know I was diagnosed last month with a rare tumor called a desmoid fibromatosis.   It is not technically a cancer because it cannot be staged.  It does not spread to other parts of the body.  It moves inward and eats organs and bones and anything in its way.   I am having it removed Friday the 26th.  I have found the most amazing doctor at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.  Dr. Farma specializes in these tumors and I could not be in better hands.  One issue with these tumors is that they often recur.  Chemo and  radiation will be discussed when the pathology report comes back.  My family and friends could not be more supportive  and I want to personally thank you all for the prayers and love I have received thus far.
