Welcome to Chris DeSimone’s CaringBridge website. Chris has been in the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore since Wednesday, March 28. His liver and kidneys had failed so he’s been in ICU since his admittance. As of Tuesday, April 3, he has been on the liver transplant list. We are hoping a liver match becomes available quickly.
Update...Chris had a successful liver transplant on Saturday, April 7. We are so grateful for the swift process. Can’t say enough wonderful things about UMMC and its staff. Truly extraordinary.
