On the morning of June 9th 2016, I woke up and went to the bathroom and noticed a large amount of clear mucous discharge that was blood tinged, at the time I was not having any pain or cramping just the discharge. I decided to phone the Dr and see what she wanted me to do and my Dr decided since I had a check up with her at 1pm that day to just have me monitor the discharge for changes as clear discharge with pink is considered normal due to changes with the cervix during pregnancy. I attended my appointment where the Dr measured my abdomen and checked the baby's heartbeat since I was not having any other pains and since discharge had not changed. It was not until 8pm that evening when I started having very mild cramping, I just didn't feel right. I decided to go to the bathroom to see if that would relieve the cramping, however when I got to the bathroom I discovered the mucous was now completely bright red blood. I immediately got on the phone with the hospital and they told me.to head to labor and delivery to be evaluated. Once arriving at the hospital the midwife discovered I was fully dilated and my water sac was bulging. I was then admitted to the high risk ob floor to try and prevent baby 3 arrival. I have had a variety of different medications to help speed up some of baby's development to increase his chance of survival. I will remain completely bedridden until baby 3 makes his arrival, every hour counts!
