Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

On June 2, 2017 we learned Chance had a large brain tumor.  The entire tumor was successfully removed on June 8th.  We went home from the hospital on June 15th with our once again active 2 1/2 year old.

Unfortunately, we learned on June 21st that the tumor was cancerous.  Chance has grade 3 anaplastic  ependymoma, RELA fusion positive.  Chance’s  treatment consisted  of four months of chemotherapy  followed by 6 weeks of radiation treatments and another 6 months of outpatient chemotherapy.

Chance continues to undergo physical and occupational therapy.  He also has regular MRI scans to monitor for recurrence.

Chance is strong and continues to beat cancer!

 Thank you for visiting.
