Hello, my name is J.R. and I am Chad’s brother. On April 3rd, 2019 Chad suffered a stroke in his spine. He is paralyzed from the shoulders down. Over the past 3 weeks he has been hospitalized, most recently at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Yesterday, he was transferred to the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute - Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Mpls.
As of today, Chad has lost 43 lbs in the past 3 weeks. He has a long, arduous and unknown road of recovery. As his brother I know whole heartedly his determination and will to try and overcome every single obstacle that presents itself. I marvel at his courage and strength and am so proud of his overall encouraging attitude.
I’d like to thank all of you in advance for any support you can provide to Chad. He is a wonderful person. I am incredibly honored and humbled to call him my brother. Thank you all!
