Carol here. Welcome to the inaugural entry on our Caring Bridge page.  We know Caring Bridge isn't on your top-ten list of websites to casually browse - it certainly isn't one we anticipated needing to create any time soon - so thanks for visiting. 

Here's the scoop... My lung cancer, originally diagnosed and treated in 2006, reared its ugly and thoroughly unwelcome head again this spring.  Needless to say, a cancer re-do was not what we had in mind for 2016, but it's caused us to be loved on, prayed over, lifted up and cared for in colossal fashion by our kids, our families and a multitude of other dear people, near and far.  We appreciate each expression of concern and generous act of love - those given quietly and those expressed cheerleader-style. 

If you're a praying person, please petition God for these requests on our behalf:  1) For courage, 2) That positive attitudes and sweet dispositions prevail no matter what, and 3) That we will see the good in each situation and person we encounter.
