Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Thank you ALL for your love, support, prayers, and concern for Carole Ingram - an amazing wife of 50+ years, our loving & devoted mom; proud & nurturing grandmother; cherished sister/aunt/cousin; and treasured friend!

As a result of a colonoscopy in the Summer of '12, they found a mass outside mom's colon. This led to a diagnosis of Stage 3/Ovarian Cancer.  An extensive surgery and aggressive chemo treatment regimen followed.  We celebrated a brief, "chemo-free" period in that following Spring of '13.  However, a nodule and subsequent biopsy revealed cancer had returned in an aggressive, fast-growing stage. Another surgery took place on 9/27/13, involving Hipec treatment (heated chemo wash). Mom has been on a constant chemo regimen since. Thank you for your outpouring of love and prayers. Mom is a faithful trooper, and we know she finds strength in the power of prayer.
