Dear Friends and Family- Carol and I set up this website to keep you, her Healing Tribe, informed about her surgery and recovery, and ways you can help. As many of you know, Carol is facing a health issue that has led us to choose surgery. It will involve a 4-6 hour major abdominal procedure this Friday, March 16, a 4-5 day hospital stay, and at least 6 weeks of recovery at home.
A huge thanks to all of you who have already reached out with calls, messages and special offers/gifts We have been so uplifted by it all! Please keep them coming. 
Everything you need to know will be posted to the Journal page here on Carol's site. We will keep this as up to date as possible.
The first Journal posting is her message on how to help (as much as we know it at this point). 
Tomorrow, we will learn the exact time of Friday's operation. and will post that info to the Journal.
