Hello everyone! I thought this would a good way of keeping everyone up to date with Mom’s health. Prior to Christmas Mom started bleeding from her colon due to her being on blood thinners. Dr. Mammon cortized the area of bleeding but it did not last. Since then Mom’s hemoglobin has dropped and she has had 10 blood transfusions. Mom is down to 75 pounds, is conscience and lights up when she sees us & the grandchildren.  Mom is getting an embolization to her colon in order to stop the bleeding, this will take place on 2/ 5.  We are all praying that it works. I want to take this time to thank my family, my sister for coming down from Florida  to be by her bedside for 2 weeks, I want to thank my brother Josh & my sister in law Pat & Dani for being there for  her needs & always asking if there is anything needed , they are there for Mom & the family. I want to thank Miriam my sister in law for being  there for us & helping us understand what is truly going. Miriam  &  Amanda have been so strong for us although they are still grieving  Papito, and so are we. On behalf of Rachel, I thank Sarina & Louie being  by Mom’s bedside every chance they get & trying to get her to eat.  Seraida’s children Ivy & Gegi came down last weekend to see Mom,  not easy when you live in a different state,  they made it a priority to get here.  Of course I need to thank my husband Angel for being so supportive & understanding  and my children Angelo & Marcus making it a priority to visit her and truly believe that she  will get through this!  I thank Dr Oladaji for taking care of her for over 25 years & trying everything to keep her alive. We all put a smile on her face, if she’s good we are good!!! We adore Mom/Grandma. We pray that this procedure works. Please pray for her & for the family.  Mom was a wonderful wife, and is a nurturing mother & grandma.  Mom we adore you,  loving you is like food to our soul!  We believe you will get through this!! 🙏🏼❤️😘
