As most of you know, Kristen (Hope) and Marc have been fighting for their chance to be parents since 2020 when they started their IVF journey. Thanks to God’s faithfulness, and advancements in medicine, this past June they received news that their miracle baby girl is due in February 2024!
Unfortunately, this page is being created because they are finding themselves facing another tough battle while pregnant- a rare and intense relapse of Kristen’s previously childhood cancer, Hepatoblastoma. The details will be shared more in the journal posts, but the hope is to recruit their community into a common effort of support, prayers, and love, in all the ways that Kristen and Marc want to feel it!
As they step into this season of uncertainty, two things are certain: 1.) This did not surprise our God; He has a plan and will be present every step of the way. 2.) Kristen and Marc have a massive community of friends and family who love them dearly, and they will need us all now more than ever. A community that we believe will all step up to the task ahead and be the hands and feet of God to carry them through this.
The aims of this page are to: A) To request bold and frequent prayers for Kristen, Marc and their daughter, as well as the medical team working tirelessly to save them. B) To streamline communication for medical updates, so that Kristen and Marc don’t have to repeat hard news as they invite us into their lives. C) To provide ideas/opportunities that are practical and tangible ways that may make each step a little easier.
