Welcome to Cal's Caring Bridge site.  We'll use this site to keep everyone updated with Cal's health status.


Cal was diagnosed with cancer in his throat and lymphnodes the Friday of Labor Day weekend.  Since then he has been in the hospital almost everyday getting tests and meeting with doctors to discuss treatment and his next steps.  As of right now he is going to be getting radiation and chemotherapy.  Because the location of the cancer they going to use the strongest chemo/radiation combo they can.  They are hopeful they can get rid of the cancer but the next year is going to be a lot of work.  Cal is going to fight this as hard as he can.  Keep him in your thoughts.
