Brylee is our 2 month old baby who is currently battling RSV, bronchiolitis, and bilateral pneumonia at Children’s Hospital. Brylee began showing symptoms on Wednesday, December 4th. She spent the night at Children’s Hospital and we were discharged the following day. On Saturday afternoon, we called 911 from our home after contacting the nurse line, as Brylee was struggling to breathe. She was admitted to Fairview Hospital overnight and then transported the following day back to Children’s PICU. She spent 4 days in the PICU, and is currently in the pediatric unit with oxygen support, antibiotics, iv fluids, and constant suctioning. She’s been retracting the entire time, and has her ups and downs. She has a ways to go before she can be discharged but she’s our tiny little fighter.
