Bruce has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, non small cell. Current state of disease is metastatic. The cancer has spread to his liver and lower back. Therapy goal is to help him live as long as possible with the highest quality of life even though no cure is medically possible. Bruce will receive chemotherapy treatments on a 21 day cycle, basically every other Thursday starting May 2. for 3 months., then the doctor will check and see if the cancer is responding the chemotherapy.  
I (Stefanie/daughter) will be with him and mom for the majority of his treatments and lab appointments. Jeff (son) will fly here from Texas in May, June , July to attend appointments too.  We have all seen the power of prayer the past few weeks, please keep them coming for peace and pain free journey for Bruce.
