As you may know, Brooke was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, December 14th. She was covered in hives, her glands were swollen and she could not open her eyes. As her symptoms continued to worsen she was diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson syndrome. She is currently in burn unit so they can treat her skin and eyes. Brooke is unable to respond to messages but Sarah and Terry read them to her every day. She loves hearing from family and friends and likes to know what everyone is up to! She even shakes her head to my corny jokes. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated and to leave encouraging thoughts and prayers.
