Brett is a tough New Englander from New Hampshire. After many (30?) winters at the Breckenridge ski Area, he proves he loves skiing and mountains.
Brett and Cindy were on a Quick ski trip to Park City, when Brett took a fall. However, no tumbling avalanche or egg beater dive off a snowy cornice. No, instead, while they were at dinner, Brett headed to the head but wound up on the concrete floor unconscious. Nothing is known about what caused the fall.
Brett was rushed to the University of Utah Hospital where they performed surgery that night. They fused two of his vertebrae. When he awoke from surgery, he was basically paralyzed without any feeling in his extremities. This is where the remarkable journey to recovery begins...
