Thank you for visiting. Brenda had problems with her speech and finding words for a couple of weeks which culminated in an episode during a dinner with her parents in Wausau Tuesday July 27th. She was on her way up north and at dinner her speech was poor enough that her parents immediately took her to the emergency room in Wausau. After a CT scan and later an MRI, doctors detected what appeared to be a tumor on the left side of her brain. She was transferred to Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and on the morning of Friday the 30th underwent an awake surgery to remove the tumor. She is working hard on her recovery and hopefully will be home soon. While we still lack information regarding the diagnosis, all of your thoughts and prayers continue to be deeply appreciated.
