After concerns for a few weeks about some pain in her legs and hips and a refusal to walk, combined with unusual bruising, Fiona was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, or ALL, on Feb. 16th. Fiona is just 2.5 years old, and has an older sister (Leyla) and a baby brother (Abram). Her mommy and daddy, Alyssa and Matt, are working very hard to balance work, family life, and Fiona's medical treatments (as well as the added stresses and fears that come with this territory).
Fiona will be receiving chemo treatments once per week (every Thursday). Please continue to pray for this sweet little girl as she goes through this very hard thing and faces it with bravery. And pray for her family, as they support and encourage her and make decisions, that God will sustain them all through this time.
