Welcome to my health diary.

Before my accident I was enjoying my life as a Veteran, Business Owner, Married to wonderful wife, and getting ready for my 50th Birthday.

I spent my initial years growing up in Columbia, SC and graduated in 1987.  I spent two years as a Cadet at the Citadel, and choose a path less traveled by enlisting in the Army.  From August of 1990 to July 1991 I was deployed to Saudi Arabia.  Spent time serving various units at Fort Benning afterwards and deployed to Florida for Hurricane Andrew Relief, Back to Saudi, and then to Somalia.

In November of 1993 was then assigned to 3/325th Airborne Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy as a Paratrooper.  3/325 Mission -  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ-HtdKmEYA) - Video Link.  That with out a doubt was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.  Four years of living in Europe traveling and serving my country in many roles that included Peace, Preventing War, and in a few hazardous deployments that made me who I am today.

Many of us have events in our life that we remember the date without question.  The most significant one in my mind  that effected my life in a cataclysmic way was the wreck I had in Sumter County that changed my life in October 12 of 2018.  In that wreck I broke my Ankle, Hip,  Arm, All of My Ribs (More than One Place), Damaged at this Point T12 Vertebrae in my back, and at one point I had a stroke during the stay in the hospital.  I was airlifted by Air Ambulance to the hospital because of the sheer trauma and the fact that they were concerned about my outcome, which at the time was 25/75; Good to Bad.

It has taken me a great deal of time to process this and move forward to where I am now.
