I never thought I would be posting about my own medical journey on here! I've followed other people diligently through their own struggles, sometimes in almost a stalker-like fashion! I would get so emotionally invested in all the journal updates and praying for positive outcomes! It still feels very surreal that I am on the other side of this website making the journal entries and updates about my own health! CRAZY! From the moment I felt something that didn't seem right, until the day I had surgery, there was less than one month of time for all of this to sink in! I am eternally thankful for the doctors that were put in my path and the speed at which I was able to get into their offices and that things lined up so perfectly for me to receive the best care possible. I know I still have a long way to go before finding my new "normal" but I am truly thankful, humbled, and most importantly, blessed!
