Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updates in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As some of you know, Bob began having headaches in late April during a fishing trip with friends. Headaches came and went during May, but then Gerry also started noticing some changes in Bob's personality. On the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, Bob had another headache and Gerry immediately took him to the ER.

After several tests (CT, MRI, etc), Bob was diagnosed with a 2 inch tumor in the front right lobe of his brain. The full diagnosis (benign, malignant, etc) is still unknown, but immediate surgery is needed to remove the tumor. The good news is that his full body CT scan did NOT show any additional concerning tumors in his body.

We will use CaringBridge as a primary method of communication to keep all of Bob's family and friends up to date as his care progresses. We know there are so many people thinking and praying for Bob already, and we are very grateful for all the support. We are trying to make updates as fast and easy as possible for Gerry, so she can concentrate on supporting Bob.
