Thank you for your interest in Bob's story. Here is some background: 
After a successful treatment for bladder cancer in 2013, he received Cancer Free reports until this most recent incident.   About two weeks ago (mid August) he began to have symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and imbalance.  We took him to North Fulton emergency room last Monday thinking he had a sinus infection and was dyhydrated. Unfortunately, we learned that the cause of his symptoms was a tumor on the brain (cerebellum).   Apparently, the tumor creates inflammation and pressure producing the symptoms.  After an MRI they discovered several other spots in his lungs and organs. After a biopsy of the lung, we found out that it is cancer coming from his original bladder cancer. Today, he is having Gamma Knife radiation surgery to break up and destroy the tumor(s) on his brain.  This will hopefully begin to remove the current symptoms and give him a better quality of life. Tomorrow, we will meet with the oncologist to discuss what treatment options are available for the other spots.
