My Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep our family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Just after thanksgiving  Bill started feeling a little weak and short of breath.   Bill is diagnosed with Richter’s Syndrome (RS), also known as Richter’s Transformation.  RS is a rare complication of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) and/or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL) characterised by the sudden transformation of the CLL/SLL into a significantly more aggressive form of large cell lymphoma.

What's a 'trainman'?  By definition, the trainmen handle throwing switches, coupling and uncoupling cars and engines, and setting and releasing hand brakes when cars are set out or picked up (that is, subtracted from, or added to, the train). They also have responsibility for protecting the train, which means “flagging” behind and ahead whenever the train is exposed to collision.

Please help and be a Trainman in this journey Bill is taking.
