Bette is still being treated at Regency Hospital, Golden Valley (updated March 10). She was first admitted to Abbott on Friday Dec 2 for a lung procedure that was necessary before the surgeons cleared her for the main OPEN HEART SURGERY on Friday December 16. She has been a fighter through this long battle to recover; please continue to pray for her strength to keep moving forward, one day at a time. Many of you know, Duane takes the time to send daily personal text updates to family and close friends; he really does appreciate everyone's love and support back to him via this communication. If you are on those direct text updates, please do continue to share encouragement, love and prayers with him . I (Kris Rocky) started this CaringBridge site in hopes of extending the reach of Bette's prayer warriors, near and far, thanks to social media.
