Brad and Wendy Bennett Bennetts - Hand of God

First post: Jul 7, 2016 Latest post: Aug 25, 2016

Brad, Wendy, Jan (Brad’s mom), and their four children were in a head-on collision on July 1st near Austin. Brad and Wendy had very serious injuries and had to be rushed to surgery. Wendy had bones shattered in her leg and hip, a spinal fracture, and a brain bleed which is being monitored. Brad had internal tears which were fixed in surgery, but left Brad in much pain. Brad’s mom and a few of the kids were bumped and bruised, but otherwise physically okay. Seth, the youngest, had a hairline fracture in his spine and will be fitted with a brace. Brad and Wendy are stable and, in time, are expected to make a full recovery. However, it will be about 6 months before Wendy can start putting weight on her leg, and she will not be able to work for some time.

We are setting up a GoFundMe account (https://www.gofundme.com/2cpbm2s) in an effort to relieve them of some of the stress and expenses that something like this causes. Their vehicle was a total loss, and they lost many of their personal belongings and electronics as well. There are countless times the Bennett family has blessed others in their life, and hopefully this will be an opportunity for us to return the blessing.
