This website has been created as a way of keeping everyone updated on Ben during this difficult time. Currently Ben's Family is spending lots of time at the hospital this makes answering phone calls, text and emails difficult and overwhelming. They all appreciate your prayers, love and support and looking forward to reading your well wishes in the comments section of this webpage.
Ben is a loving husband to Natalie and an amazing father to 4 young girls, Kyra, Autumn, Nikola and Paige. Ben comes from a large family. His parents Arnold and Elaine have 6 sons, Ben is 4th in the birth order. He works as an electrician, which you can tell is a passion of his. Ben loves mountain biking, working out and helping others in his spare time. Ben is always a positive, encouraging person who brings out the best in others.
On Thursday January 4th, 2018 Ben was involved in a car accident. He was airlifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition, where he remains at this time. Ben has suffered many significant injuries and has a long road ahead of him.
Currently Ben is considered critical but stable. The most important injury Ben is being treated for at this time is a subdural hematoma which is causing pressure on his brain. On Friday he had surgery to try and relieve the pressure. Over the last few days his pressure has slowly been decreasing. This is a positive sign on Ben's road to recovery. Right now it's extremely important for Ben to rest so his visitors have been restricted to immediate family only.
Updates on Ben's progress will be posted as frequently as possible.
