This past December I had the unfortunate news that I have a mass in my body.  I kind of knew something was wrong, but it is hard when your fears are confirmed.   I had told my primary care doctor about some bowel changes that I was having, she gave me a FIT test to take home - this test is a screening test to determine if you have blood in your stool.  Mine came back positive, and a colonoscopy was scheduled.  The doctor performing the colonoscopy immediately saw the mass and informed us of the finding.  Since learning about my condition, my doctors have been swift in starting my journey to KilltheBeast!  I had a CT and an MRI immediately, I was also referred to surgery and oncology.
