In July 2014, I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called Myelofibrosis. While the shock of hearing that I had a blood cancer sunk in I quickly began to realize how lucky I was to have been diagnosed so early and that there was a potential cure for the disease. For the past three years I have been living my life knowing at some point my time would come for a Bone Marrow Transplant. Well the time is now.
