Barb fell on January 9 in her bedroom on a throw rug.  She was able to call the neighbors who came in and helped her until the EMTs got there. They also stayed with her at the hospital until her nursing friend arrived. Next day she had fallen socket of her right shoulder replaced. She broke two arms, she broke two ribs and she bruised her knee.  She was in the hospital for a week and then in rehab for two weeks. I was able to be there for two weeks and we had constant flow of visitors and Caregiver’s. Jim is arriving on Thursday, and staying indefinitely.
She’s a real champ, she’s been telling us how grateful she is for everything , she’s been working really hard in therapy and of course listening to Penn State wrestling.
