On Sunday September 2nd, While on a camping trip with friends and family in Bend, Aya experienced multiple seizures. She is currently in the hospital in Bend for monitoring and further tests. She was diagnosed with epilepsy Monday morning and started on the medication keppra at 11am. Since then she's had 4 mild seizures. She will likely stay in the hospital until she's down to 1-2 in a 24 hour period and they are hoping this will be soon!
