When Austin was 4 months old, he was diagnosed with craniosynostosis.   Craniosynostosis is where his soft spots on his skull have closed prematurely.   
On April the 23rd, 2 days before he turns 11 months, Austin will have his skull opened up and dissolvable plates put in place to provide room for his brain to grow normally.  Austin is having the procedure done at the Children's Hospital in San Antonio.  He is the 1st surgery of the day and is estimated to start at 0730 Please use this site to check Austin's updates and to send prayers and get well wishes.


We do not get service in the hospital so this is the best way to stay updated about Austin and reach out to us.
