Marlene Eisele

Marlene Eisele, "Auntie,"  is a sister, aunt, great aunt, and super aunt (great great aunt :). She is beloved by her entire family, she lives in Palmer, AK with her sister, Ann, and two grand nephews, Brandon & Cameron. One of her grand niece's also lives in Palmer with her husband, Jason, and two children, Jed & Lainey.


On Friday, April 16th, my sweet Auntie had a stroke. She got up from her bedroom, walked over to the front door to make sure it was locked, felt very weak, and walked a couple steps to the nearest dining room chair and became unconscious sitting upright, still breathing (thank you, Lord). My grandma (her sister, Ann) was the one to find her about 15-20 minutes after the episode. My grandma reached out to family members and got Police & EMS on their way to the house. 


My mom, dad, and myself hopped on a plane from WA state and got there 8 hours after her stroke. As soon as we landed, we headed to the hospital to see her. She was able to smile, make eye contact, and emote a small amount. We were all so grateful to God that she lived through this.


I am writing this on Monday, April 19th, just a few short days after the stroke. My goal is to post an update at least every two days. My aunt has touched so many peoples' lives. My entire family is beyond thankful for each and every single prayer on behalf of Auntie. We ask for continued prayer from each and every one of you for healing & recovery.
