Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words. Anthony  started having severe weight loss this fall. By Christmas he had already lost 40 lbs. he wasn't trying to lose any more weight, he simply couldn't eat. Each morning he would wake up with extreme nausea and vomiting. Later in the day, it would finally stop. I've rushed him into the doctor numerous times but they had no answers. We've had every test run the doctors could think of, and yet, his symptoms persisted. He's been diagnosed with GERD, and put on several medications- yet, it doesn't help. He's in extreme pain every day in his abdomen. Anything he eats just makes the pain worse. Today he is 150 lbs and is 5'11" tall. -10 more pounds and he will be in ICU. We asked for a referral to the Mayo Clinic and he was accepted. We go on May 2nd to see why my baby is suffering so much. Please keep him in your prayers as we continue this journey.
