Welcome to Ann's CaringBridge site. Ann will have her aortic valve replaced on Tuesday, March 15th at St.Francis Hospital. The surgery is expected to be about 5 hours long. She will spend 2 days in the ICU. Following the ICU she will spend 5-7 days recovering at the hospital before being released home. Once home, she will have a lifting restriction and will not be able to drive. She will also start Cardiac Rehab after going home from the hospital.
We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We are also hoping that we can use this site to set up some help for Ann while she is recuperating. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. Please keep Ann and her family in your prayers.
