Anne began her battle with breast cancer in Sept. 2015.  She tolerated chemo, then surgery and radiation treatments ending in May 2016.    During this time, Anne moved from St Paul to Minnetonka and was really enjoying her new community at WestRidge.   
Just when things were looking up and Anne was enjoying her official retirement, Anne's world was shaken by some abnormal liver function tests.
Anne's doctors pursued the problem with further tests and scans.  Anne was told the horrible news on Sept. 27th that the cancer had come back and
invaded her liver as well as bones in her spine.   Our family was stunned and continues to be blindsighted by this dire diagnosis.   We are all taking 
it one day at a time and we are seeking to grab whatever precious time we have to enjoy Anne's company.
