    Welcome to our CaringBridge website

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
ANN BURDICK'S STORY:
Ann went in to have an outpatient surgery removal of a cancerous abdominal tumor on July 28th, 2017.
4 hours later she was in recovery after a total hysterectomy, temporary colostomy for stage 4 cancer.
Ann has started her journey of recovery to remission which includes chemo every 2-3 weeks X 6 ending around Christmas 2017.
Her remission will allow the reversal of her colonoscopy at that time.
Ann's sister in law Beth came and gave her a darling shoulder-length hair cut.  This gives Ann the Opportunity to donate her "locks"  to some local nurses         who make wigs for those in need.  Her hair from this cut alone will provide at least 2 wigs....and she has her braids from previous cuts to donate also.
****Your Prayers and Well Wishes are the most motivating thing for her + her family right now as they wrap their head & hearts around this life change.
Ann's 1st chemo treatment was Friday, September 8th and lasted for 5 hours.
She slept through for the most part + emerged without nausea for the 1st time in weeks.
Please feel free to let Ann + her family know you are thinking of them, love them + are wishing them well, praying over them by communicating on this site....
