Welcome to our CaringBridge website! It is a secure, non-public, by invitation only site (no Facebook links to outsiders or data intrusive spying; all members to my website must be approved and are people that we know well).  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place as I recover from a Severe Spinal Cord Injury that nearly paralyzed me, and required emergency surgery last week to prevent full paralysis and remarkably, safe my life. My recovery is expected over a long period of time but we are optimistic that my normal motor functions (like bicycling, going for long walks, and hopefully playing the piano again one day and skiing maybe in a couple of years -- will be fully restored). We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement!  Please don't feel that you need to respond if you prefer your anonymity!
