Hi everyone, First and foremost, thank you all for the prayers, love, support, kindness and friendship. I am truly, truly blessed to be surrounded near and far by such amazing people!! My story..... well, I think it starts with a miracle. New Year's day I was laying in bed with Gracie reading her stories. Luke came running in and jumped on top of me. Wow, that hurt my chest and I started rubbing where it hurt and immediately felt a lump. I was able to get into my doctor on January 3rd and the whole process began. For all of my clinical savvy friends, I have invasive ductal carcinoma, stage II, grade 3, triple negative breast cancer. I had a clean mammogram in March 2016. So this is a snotty little SOB that I have :). This is why I call Luke my angel for helping me find it so early!! I will have ~5 months of chemo, followed by surgery and followed by radiation. Thank you for all of the prayers and support as this journey progresses.
