I've had a picture perfect pregnancy up until this past Monday, May 1st, 2017 when I failed my 1 hour glucose test and I started feeling not quite right overall. I rested alot and prepared myself for the 3 hour glucose test a few days later. Found out on Thursday afternoon that I failed that test as well so I was diagnosed with Gestastional diabetes (which I've never had) and was to meet with a dietician come this Monday, May 8th, 2017. Thursday evening I was having mild cramping that would come and go and a low fever so I called my Dr and they suggested I drink lots of water and rest as much as I could (which I did) and if I got worse or more consistent to go in. By bedtime I felt great and I slept really well actually. Friday, May 5th, 2017 I woke up and had severe abdominal pain and a contraction that I could get no relief from no matter what I did and then it stopped and the heavy bleeding came. I yelled for Nate (who thankfully had the day off and was home) and he grabbed the kids as I called 911 for an ambulance. And thats where this has all begun.
I started this page because I can update regularly without flooding facebook and hopefully keep a dairy of our long journey as we wait for baby boy #5 to arrive and after he's born 💙 Thank you for prayer, thoughts, concerns, and encouragement already!
