Alice Niehaus

Welcome to Alice’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time. Here is a brief explanation regarding what happened. 
On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, Alice suffered a hemorrhagic stroke to the right frontal lobe.  As a result, she was airlifted to St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville. After several hours of testing, she was placed in the ICU in order to closely monitor her elevated blood pressure and heart rate. She has since been moved to the Stepdown ICU and has spent the last 7 days there. Please follow along on her journey to recovery.
