https://www.youcaring.com/abbybolde-721283 On the morning of Friday, December 9, 2016 Abby and her two friends, Shanna and Kyla, were in terrible car accident as they were driving the busy California freeway to a morning class at The Master's University. That morning, in God’s providence, a smokestack from a big rig came off and was kicked back up when another vehicle struck it. It went through the windshield of Abby’s car, hitting the right side of her her head. By God's grace, Shanna was able to grab the steering wheel, and the girls landed on the side of the freeway amidst bumps with big rigs and a very busy freeway. We praise God that Shanna and Kyla were spared great harm and walked away from the accident that day, shaken but with only mild abrasions. However, our dear Abby remains in the hospital fighting for her life!She sustained considerable trauma to her head. After hours of surgery December 9th, she was placed in a medically-induced coma to help her rest and recover. From day one, Abby has shown she is a fighter! She is working hard in therapy and God is granting amazing progress.
