CaringBridge Team to Match Up to $10,000 on Give to the Max Day for the First Time in Company History

Eagan, Minn. (Nov. 7, 2018) – For the first time in company history, the CaringBridge team is celebrating Give to the Max Day, as well as their pride in working for a Minnesota nonprofit, by matching contributions to CaringBridge up to $10,000 on November 15. Give to the Max Day is a 24-hour giving event where Minnesotans rally to support local nonprofits.

“I support CaringBridge because it served as a lifeline for my family when my dad was ill. CaringBridge was always there for us to rely on for support and encouragement from our loved ones,” said donor relations specialist Alyssa Bigham. “To be able to give back and ensure CaringBridge can exist for anyone, anywhere who needs it is simply an honor.”

CaringBridge – the global nonprofit social network dedicated to helping family and friends communicate with and support loved ones during a health journey – is fueled by the generosity of individual donors. Nearly 90 percent of the donations made to CaringBridge come from people who have used the social network themselves to share their own health journey or the journey of a loved one. A donation to CaringBridge ensures that no one goes through a health crisis alone.

“Our team is continuously impacted by CaringBridge users and the stories they share,” said CEO Liwanag Ojala. “I’m so proud of our team’s personal commitment to the CaringBridge mission and their willingness to match the donations of the wonderful people who also support our cause.”
