CaringBridge Launches Fall Giving Campaign Through September 26

Eagan, Minn. (September 9, 2019) – CaringBridge kicks-off its Fall giving campaign beginning September 9 through September 26. Through the month of September, CaringBridge asks its supporters to spread hope, healing, and connection through a financial gift.

The campaign includes a generous matching gift donated by an anonymous friend of CaringBridge. The gift doubles donations received on September 9 and 10 up to $10,000.

A health journey of any kind—diagnosis, injury, illness, pregnancy complications, or other experiences—is difficult to endure alone. Too often, patients and caregivers feel isolated at a time when support matters most. In these moments, there’s no match for the power of community, and a donation to CaringBridge provides that for millions around the world.

“When you’re going through a health journey, the world around you changes. Every day brings new questions, tasks and challenges,” says Liwanag Ojala, CaringBridge CEO. “Amidst all of these changes, support from others is an essential constant. We are grateful for our generous donors who know the value in this and whose donations allow for that support network to be provided to thousands of families in need.”

CaringBridge is a donor-supported nonprofit—powered by a community that cares about providing a vital healing resource for thousands of people around the world.  A donation to CaringBridge means that 300,000 people a day can connect with family and friends using CaringBridge. Every eight minutes, there’s a new CaringBridge site made to share updates and get support. And every hour, 600 messages of encouragement are shared on a loved one’s site. Not only does a donation support the sites themselves, it helps improve and expand the ability to help people heal. Donations allow CaringBridge to be brought to more people, as well as ongoing research and resources related to healing.
