Journal entry by Linda P. —
We are celebrating Dave’s first bone marrow transplant anniversary today!!! He is doing exceptionally well. It was quite a year compounded with the Covid virus. He remains in isolation to protect him from developing complications. Despite taking precautions, he required two prolonged hospitalizations after his transplant. It has been an amazing journey with the loving and prayerful support of our family and friends.
We planned to enjoy a few days at our new cottage and ended up deciding to live here permanently!! We love being on the water and living in a smaller space. Right now we are trying to figure out how to configure our stuff in it. It is like living in a house puzzle.
We hope you all have a safe and meaningful upcoming Holiday. Dave and I will not be seeing our family until Spring. We hope to have a family bash then.
