Thomas....it's been four years ago today that God did exactly what He has promised all who come to Him in prayer ...He healed you and welcomed you home to Heaven. I think about you all the time. Sometimes I laugh, as I did today when I bought all the toys for your nephews and neices (" just use a paycheck" I could hear you say) and sometimes I cry, as I did last Wednesday on my way to Smithfield, thinking of every moment, sight, sound and action from the moment we took you to CHKD September 2005 to the day we decided to let you go to God's arms at home. I miss you so much. I know we will be together very soon, even if the time on earth seems so very long. You taught so many so much. The seeds you so quietly and unassuming went about sowing have grown and blossomed. If you get a chance, say hello to Granpy for me. And come and visit us again real soon. I love you my son with all my heart. Happy re-birthday. Dad.

I've never met you, but I am a fellow youth at KPC. But I just wanted to tell you that on Sunday morning at church, Pastor Steven Ruckell called all the young people of the church (that would be everyone under 30) up to the front. The whole church prayed over us and annointed us. They called us to be radical for Christ and said we would be able to do things to further the kingdom that generations before us never could. They prayed 1 Timothy 4:12 over us which says "Don't let anyone despise your youth but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." Your life probably seems, well is, hard sometimes. And I just want to encourage you to press on because "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." "well i do, i think your nose is the best nose i ever seen," said Vofacco. and the elephant said "well i like my nose but we can clone it so u can have 1 and i'll still hav mine." Tommy, I can't wait to play with you again when you get back from New York city. I was riding a two wheel bike today ( with a little help ) and want to take it outside when it is warmer. Pretty soon we will be able to come over and go swimming with you in the pool.

Hey Thomas! You might not remember me because I was your shortest OHI teacher, Miss Connie Ryder! I took over after Miss Amy, then I got sick. Mr. Rob told me about you going to New York! I'm sure you will see some sights there!! I just wanted you to know that even though I didn't have you for long - you touched my heart in so many ways! Hope you and your parents like the Big Apple. I never knew why it was called a Big Apple. It is definitely big, but where's that apple? Before you leave, tell your Mom and Dad that you want to go to FAO Schwarz. It is the biggest Toy Store I have ever seen and it is lots of fun.
