Noah was a real trooper during the hospital visit for his MRI on 11 March. The day before, he explained to his nursery class what would happen - including a description of the IV. Afterward, when asked how it went, he stated "absolutely fine." He's such a character!

Today we met with the oncologist. The MRI showed there is either scar tissue or residual tumor adjacent to his spine. This is not something of significant concern. If it is scar tissue, we expect it to go away. If it is residual tumor, we still expect it to go away. Since there were mature (benign) cells in Noah's tumor, they expect any residual tumor to mature and regress as well.

What now? We will have oncologist appointments and urine tests done every month for the next year. Our next MRI will be in three months to verify that the mass is shrinking. Noah will go under general anesthesia again for that MRI. Thankfully this one went very well. The worst part is that he does NOT like skipping breakfast!

Our next routine appointment is scheduled 15 April.
