Hi, James here. I'm sorry I have not been updating. On June 15th I got my scans. They were CLEAR!!!!!!!! I was really happy. I almost ran up the wall. A lot of excitement went on in my house. Can you believe how bad I am about updating? I will try to update a lot more!

Our team, the A's, got 1st place in baseball. I got to play a few games at the end of the season. I had a great time.

I went to Mavericks Hoop Camp in June and had a lot of fun. The camp was for one week.

After Hoop Camp, I went to my first sleep away camp. This was my Cancer Survivor Camp, called Camp Discovery, which was a week in Kerrville,TX. I had such a blast. I rode down on a bus with Dr. Goldman, nurses Kammie and Jenafer. When I arrived in Kerrville, I saw nurse Sandy and many other familiar faces. I had fun riding horses, playing golf, tennis, swimming. They had something called high elements that had a rock wall for climbing, a zip line, a catwalk. That was my favorite activity. My least favorite part of camp was "Happy Nappy" for 1 hour each day. I met a lot of new friends at camp and had so much fun.

After Camp Discovery, I got to go to a 4 day golf camp at Oakridge Country Club. Thank you to Aunt Amy for sending me to this camp for my birthday which was during the camp (August 3rd). I had a great time at camp.

The following week I got "deported" on August 10th. (Not out of the country thank goodness..) This was a really BIG DAY! When I checked in for my surgery to get my port out, we ran into my friend Parker who was there having surgery the same day.

On Friday, August 12th, we went to the clinic for a checkup and then went up to the floor to check on our buddy, Parker. We played with his Dukes of Hazzard car. This car did flips, turns, rolls, and we had so much fun playing. We hope he is feeling better and hope to see him soon.

On Sunday, August 14th, my steri strips came off and I had to make an unexpected visit to the ER at MCD. The doctor was able to put new steri strips on and off we went (to the 6th floor to visit our nurses). When we went to the 6th floor it was not to stay overnight.....just a visit!!!!

MONDAY, AUGUST 15th - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
I was happy to start back to school and see all my friends. I love my new teachers, Mrs. Spiritas, Mrs. Cannon and Mrs. Varga. I am looking forward to having a great year at school....

Love,
James
