Garrett, I feel so bad that I am just now contacting you! I did not know until I returned to school today and read my emails. I don't have a computer at home. Based upon the other comments that I have read, it sounds like you came out of surgery like a champ! I will continue to pray for you, and I wish you a fantastic school year.

Hi Garrett, I'm so glad to hear you are making such wonderful progress! Since your Mom said you had felt up to watching a little Sportscenter I thought I would pass along some CU football news. Yesterday the Tigers got a commitment for the 2012 class from Chad Kelly, a highly recruited quarterback prospect. He committed to CU over Alabama, FSU, etc. He is the nephew of Jim Kelly, a famous quarterback with the Buffalo Bills of years past. Chad Kelly is 6'3" and 200 lbs. so it looks like we might finally get a quarterback with some size. Kelly said he liked the "family atmosphere" at Clemson. Keep up the good work recovering (Tigers are tough) and I'll keep you in my prayers.

HELP ST. JUDE BY CREATING A PEPPER AT CHILI'S TO FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER!!!!

St. Jude Children�s Research Hospital and Chili�s Grill & Bar� announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. Now through September 30, Chili�s restaurants around the country and, for the first time, in Puerto Rico, are marking National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by inviting people to get creative and raise funds to help St. Jude find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
Guests at participating Chili�s restaurants can contribute to St. Jude in multiple ways:

- Make a donation to St. Jude and receive a Create-A-Pepper chili pepper coloring sheet designed for display at restaurants during the month.

- Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.

- Buy a customized Create-A-Pepper key that can be cut for use at home or the office.

- Eat at Chili�s on Monday, Sept. 29, when Chili�s will donate 100 percent of profits from participating restaurant sales to St. Jude.

I am so glad things worked out and once again it has been proven that there is someone other than us that is in control. Thomas is now an AP. That is very scary. I check my Caring Bridge sites from time to time and was so happy to see the update. The family looks great. I lived in Columbia for years (just down the street from the zoo). It was my favorite hangout. The offer still stands, if you guys ever get to the NC mtns, you are more than welcome to come stay at my house in Boone (I live just 6 miles from Tweetsie RR). Samantha is doing great. They all stay so busy. Nancy is doing good, 2 yrs cancer free. Poor Ken holds his breathe for the 2 girls of his dreams (Nancy and Sam). Aunt Cathy is recovering from a bad bout with pneumonia... but I guess that beats cancer. I was a momma this past year, having custody of my 14 yr old nephew. It was trying times as 3 of my nephews ended up in foster care, but I was there for them every weekend and had them for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter and then finally got full custody of the 14 yr old. What a tough time we went thru. But all 3 boys (13,15,17) are doing great now, back with their Mom (my x-sister-in-law).

I am so happy to hear your kids are doing great. Sam, Garrett and Cassie are all little miracles.

I found your site afer learning about Sharethelove.org from a brain cancer survivor friend.
