I have an Anaplastic Ogliocystoma. I was diagnosed on February 27, 2015 after dealing with signs and symptoms since October 2014. Insurance issues were a huge. I had surgery on March 5th at UMASS, Worcester. I spent two days in the Operating room recovery area, blessed to not have had to gone to PACU. I received excellent care, and then moved back up to 4 East neurology unit. Once I was stabilized, I was moved to Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. Fairlawn is an aggressive rehab facility that provides neuropsych services, social services, occupational therapy (activities of daily living), speech therapy and physical therapy. The plan will be to continue on with treatment utilizing chemo and radiation, nuking the shit out this brain tumor so I can get on with the business of living life.
