Heather Serafin is 16 years old. She was diagnosed with DIPG October 23, 2013. She spent from December 24,2013 to January 2015 without symptoms. January 2015 the symptoms began to grow rapidly effecting her left side. She has been under the care of Dr. Natasha Smiley at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago.
